Volunteer Opportunities

The following projects are available to members to earn guest passes.   If you are interested in finding out more information, click the contact     name listed to send an email.   There are also additional volunteer opportunities for parties, Coney Nights, etc., listed on the Social page.  

Mid Summer Grill Cleaning    

What: Clean the four BBQ grills

When:   After the Fourth of July, Sunday July 5th is   ideal  

Reward:  
For one member this will take over four hours of messy, hard work, 30 passes.   If four people share the work each will earn 10 passes.

Volleyball League/Tourney Coordinator        

What: Have fun and meet people by organizing a volleyball league, or maybe three tournaments.     Figure out if there is one division or more by age/experience/height.   Advertise and encourage the events,   determine schedules and publish rules (current college or old fashioned scoring...).   Turn what has been impromptu Sunday night games into a NSC event.

Establish Recycling Program

What: Organize   recycling program for club.   Research   recycling service, establish bins, collection times as well as recruit   resources to help with collections.

Organize Blood Drive

What: Sponsor a blood drive during summer 2010 at the club.  The blood drive needs a member high school student to organize and run the event.  Students earn scholarship dollars based on units of blood collected.  See Red Cross documents attached below for more information.
